This beautiful relic was created during the Victorian Era. The 14k gold mourning brooch features matte black enamel and is centered with an approximately .06 carat old mine cut, colorless diamond with excellent clarity. The brooch is finished with a collapsible bail to allow it to be worn as a pendant.
The piece measures approximately 1.2″ x 1.1″ and it weighs 6.1 grams. It is unmarked but has been carefully acid tested to ensure its 14k gold content. Condition is great for its antique age, with some light scratches and chips to the enamel which are not obtrusive. Please see photos for details.
