Antique Chatelain Pen or Pencil 14k Yellow Gold

This fabulous antiquity was made in the early 1900s to be worn on a woman’s chatelaine, where she would carry all her essential personal items.

Made from 14k yellow gold, this hexagonal pen or pencil holder features two parts- the area that holds the retractable pencil (now empty), and the case. The case contains nicely textured details and a beautiful patina.

The piece is unmarked but has been carefully acid and x-ray tested to ensure its 14k gold content. It measures approximately 2.5″ long without the hanging loop x .25″ and it is in great condition for its antique age. See photos for details.
