This beautiful antique band by Jr Wood & Sons (now ArtCarved) was crafted from 18k white and yellow gold in the early 1900s. The band features a floral design which extends all the way around and is bordered with milgrain edges. The inside of the band is made in yellow gold.
The ring is a size 5.75 and weighs 2.9 grams. The inside is stamped with an obscured JR Wood stamp, and it is hand-engraved with partially obscured initials. The date of 9-5-1919 is still legible on the inside. The 18k mark has been worn away, but the piece has been carefully acid tested to ensure its 18k gold content. Condition is great for its antique age, with the majority of the wear to the inside of the band. Please see photos for details.
